Formworks is an architecture firm led by Phil Roberson, a registered architect in Oregon. He is passionate about public spaces, urbanism and architecture that embraces community. With a background in multifamily, single family, higher education and hospitality design, Phil brings 10+ years of experience working with some of the northwest’s top practices including Hacker Architects and Holst Architecture.
He received his Master of Architecture and Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania, where he is chair of the board for the Association of Native Alumni. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture (cum laude) from Portland State University.
Hailing from Springfield, Oregon, Phil is passionate about creating architecture that embraces underserved populations and adding design excellence to unexpected places. A proud part of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, he is passionate about leveraging architecture for equity, social good and service.
